Director of Client Communications and PR

Position Responsibilities:
The Director of Client Communications is responsible for the ongoing communication, collaboration, and ultimate success of certain clients.  You will be working with a broad range of clients including some of the nations top and most prominent brands such as Home Depot, Salesforce, ADP, AtTask and many others.  You will be instrumental in developing content marketing strategies for your clients and handling the day-to-day project management and communication.  A comprehensive team of graphic designers, writers, programmers, and others will be available to you to help you in the execution of your client’s campaigns.  This position will also be helping with the campaign Social Media, PR and outreach process.  Most client communications and reporting will be managed by this position.

Qualifications/Experience:

Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills are required for this position.  A strong background (3+ years) in digital content marketing and client management is needed.  This position requires a solid understanding of content marketing, SEO, SEM, PPC, PR (and PR tools), Social Media, Google Analytics, and reporting tools such Excel and Google Docs.  We’re looking for someone who is extremely organized, efficient, disciplined and motivated.  Project management skills are a must with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects at the same time. More than anything, we’re looking for optimism, attitude and someone who will add to our amazing culture!

PPC Manager

Position Responsibilities:

Avalaunch Media is looking for the next up and coming Pay Per Click star to join our team. We’re experiencing rapid growth and need someone to take on new and existing clients and launch them to results they never thought possible! As a Paid Search manager you will have the opportunity to setup, optimize, and grow client accounts. We need someone who loves the industry, likes to try new strategies, and who is coming up with better ways to do the same stuff. We work in Adwords, AdCenter, Facebook, and LinkedIn all day and want someone who knows their way around those platforms. Knowing how to play with Excel, Adwords Editor, Google Analytics and doing landing page optimization is a big plus also.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Some experience managing and growing Adwords, Adcenter, and Facebook accounts
  • Proficiency in Excel, Adwords Editor, and Google Analytics
  • Experience in testing and improving landing pages
  • Loves working with and meeting new people
  • Looks at data and knows what’s going on
  • Willingness to learn and work as a team
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with Photoshop
  • Capable of multitasking between several accounts, brands, and products
  • Strong sense of ownership, drive and urgency
  • Self-starter willing to tackle projects with excitement
  • College degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Adwords and AdCenter Certified
  • Can write a mean blog post

SEO Manager

Position Responsibilities:

Avalaunch Media is looking for an SEO Manager to join our team. We’re experiencing rapid growth and need someone to take on new and existing clients and launch them to results they never thought possible!  As an SEO Manager you’ll be primarily responsible for managing the relationship with the clients and for making sure their online campaign is continuously developing while executing ethical and successful SEO and Conversion Rate Optimization strategies.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Develop insights to your clients’ company, culture, competitors, and customers
  • Gain thorough understanding of your clients’ website and online marketing goals
  • Create and implement onsite and offsite SEO strategies
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and other resources available for the account.
  • Build relationships of trust with your clients to allow successful campaign management and open doors for renewed contracts and addition of other services
  • Have weekly/monthly meetings and phone conferences with clients to provide progress reports, etc.
  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Stay current with industry news, changes, etc. so you stay up-to-date on how you can help your clients’ succeed

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are a MUST!
  • No less than 1 year experience in SEO
  • College degree preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of CSS/HTML proper coding techniques
  • Experience with WordPress and other content management systems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools and any other industry tools such as: SEOmoz, Ahrefs, Majestic SEO, Crawlers, etc.
  • Capable of multitasking between several accounts, brands, and products
  • Strong sense of ownership, drive and urgency
  • Self-starter willing to tackle projects with excitement
  • Experienced with MS Word, Excel, and Pages
  • Can write a mean blog post
