In case you missed it, the NBA rolled out its inaugural Social Media Awards last night and we thought it would be cool to showcase the Winners of the 2012 NBA Social Media Awards Dream Systems Media style. I love seeing the NBA, and its players, embrace social media the way they have. As far as I know, giving out social media awards is definitely a pro sports first.
Like many others, I thought it was awesome that Jeremy Lin won both of the awards he was up for because without social media we would have probably never experienced Linsanity as we knew it. Tim Keeney said it best, “Jeremy Lin single-handedly broke Twitter on several occasions“!
