LEHI, UT — June 12, 2023 — Avalaunch Media, a premier digital marketing agency in Lehi, Utah, is thrilled to announce its 3rd Annual Avalaunch Gives Back 5k Charity Race and Family Mascot Fun Run, scheduled to take place on September 30, 2023, at Wheeler Historic Farm in Salt Lake City. This Avalaunch Gives Back initiative will raise funds for two outstanding causes: the Avalaunch Media Scholarship Program and the Water for Life Charity, which drills wells and supplies water filters to developing countries, ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water.

Race Details
The Avalaunch Yeti Mascot Family Fun Run will take place before the 5k race at 9:00 AM MDT, giving parents and children the chance to run together. This one-mile fun run is open to everyone and is an excellent chance for families to participate in giving back. Avalaunch Media’s own mascot, Eddie the Yeti, will lead the way and add an extra element of excitement to the event.
The main event of the day is the Avalaunch Gives Back 5k, which will start at 9:30 AM MDT. The race will take place at the beautiful and historic Wheeler Farms, offering participants a flat and fast terrain. The 5k will be a chip-timed event, providing an exciting opportunity for runners to challenge themselves and achieve their personal best.

Awards will be given to the top-three overall male and female participants, as well as the top-three male and female finishers in various age groups. Participants can also look forward to receiving a runners’ gift bag, including a race t-shirt, courtesy of the event’s sponsors. After the races, a post-race breakfast and awards ceremony will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Registration Information
Event registration runs from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM and can be done in person, although participants are encouraged to register online to ensure a smoother process. Registration for both the 5k and the Mascot Fun Run opens on June 15, 2023, at 12:00 AM MDT. There is a small registration fee of $15 for the fun run and $30 for the 5k for each participant.
