We at Dream Systems Media just finished up an infographic on Pinterest Image Optimization for our friends over at Pinnable Business that was featured on Mashable today. The graphic is a great reference for those looking for how to integrate Pinterest into their social marketing strategy. We loved being involved in this project, because we love creating infographics! Great job with that infographic. I’ve just spent the last 2 hours reading different articles about leveraging Pinterest for small businesses, but this is the first data I’ve come across regarding optimizing the images.
I’m glad Pinterest is gaining popularity, because I think it’s a great opportunity for creatively sharing ideas.
You missed an “i” in the infographic: Pinterest Image Optimizat[i]on —> http://twitpic.com/92jm5a
@Riccardo Yea, thanks … It is being updated as we speak.
“because I think its a great opportunity for creatively sharing ideas.”<—yeah, just the idea of sharing pictures (which say a thousand words, right?) sounds very interesting.
The ideas youve shared here are fantastic. Planning, research, evaluation and survey are the important factor of any new business, and pinterest is one of the great place to promote business.
There has been discussion as using Pinterest as way to link to our page but I’m not even sure where or how I would begin. Confusing.
@Robert
I have several ideas that would work well for a law firm. send us an email mat at dreamsystemsmedia dot com and we can talk about our services. thanks,
Nice infographic Matt, I use pinterest a lot to drive traffic to my site. I find pinning infographics work the best as people usually have to click on the link to see the full version.
So simple, yet it has everything a person needs to know. Good job. I’m going to go pin it.

I have read an article on SEOmoz where the author talk about “instructographics”. It’s some sort of graphic with tutorials related to your niche rather than infographic that presents data reports. According to the author, it is more effective in getting more repins and traffic to your site. Haven’t tried it though.
